Brief /   Design an eye-catching Amazon booth for VidCon 2020

For VidCon 2020, Amazon Prime Video wanted to create an enticing booth that can stand out from other large media networks, and highlight their new young adult titles. With this in mind, we designed a retro video rental store advertising the new shows, connected to and a hidden VIP lounge/arcade under a giant couch.

FOOTPRINT

People will queue up to enter the retro amazon video store with signs advertising new young adult titles on the marquee and posters. Once inside, guests can browse different shows on iPads set around the store, and help themselves to snacks from the concession area. To promote subscriptions, only prime members will have access to the lounge/arcade behind the double doors.

BINGE COUCH

Connected via stairs from the lounge/arcade is the Amazon Prime Video binge couch, a photo worthy spectacle. Guests can have their photo taken, hang out, and exit down the armrest slide.

This booth satisfies both requirements of being photo worthy and also thoroughly promoting the new young adult titles while appealing to that audience conceptually and aesthetically. 

TRANSPORTATION

As an add-on to provide more exposure outside of the convention hall, we proposed a binge bus, inspired by New York tour buses with theater style seats for optimal viewing. Instead of scenery and city, guests will watch previews of the new titles and engage with branded content. The external resembles an amazon shipment box with stickers of the brand and shows, to reach a wider audience.
